Mounting public pressure has moved Verizon to change their mind about throttling speeds for their unlimited data plan mobile customers. There has been quite a bit of press related to poor customer satisfaction and even public letters between Verizon and the FCC regarding the data throttling announcement.
Many people dislike their Internet provider and their broadcast video service these days. An analysis of 2013 customer satisfaction ratings by Gary Kim of TechZone360 states, “the bottom three industries were the mobile, Internet access and video entertainment categories.” Why aren’t we holding these companies more accountable for good customer service?
